   So dissatisfaction at one’s current state of affairs, and feeling the need to take action equals depression? But only on January 22, or the third Monday in the month? And this is a reason to hand out advice so that one won’t feel the same way next year? Even though 85 per cent of Brits are optimists.

   Looks to me like January 22 was a slow news day.
