Attacking Sunni insurgents on Haifa Street is fine, but don’t forget Sadr City across the river. Presumeably that project is awaiting the arrival of 20,000 U.S. troops and Gen Petraeus to give al-Maliki an offer he can’t refuse.
Confederate Yankee has al-Maliki’s clampdown on media. Anyone who knows what’s up, all ears, please comment.
