Getting UnStuck In Iraq
I know it is a mistake to make any assumptions about John Kerry’s reasons for exiting the 2008 race based on what he actually said on the Senate floor yesterday.
But he did very strongly imply that it was George Bush’s fault. Because of Bush, Kerry is now stuck in Iraq.  It is vital that he devote the next two years to trying to get U.S. troops out of Iraq in a year.
So I don’t know where the New York Times is getting this about Democratic Party unreceptivity forcing Kerry out:
Mr. Kerry’s announcement of his political plans, if unveiled in an unorthodox place, was not a surprise, notwithstanding his early statements that he would run again for the White House. He was in effect bowing to a Democratic Party that was clearly unreceptive and that had turned its attention to new candidates, in particular Senators Barack Obama of Illinois and Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, who got into the race over the past week. Many Democrats had said they expected Mr. Kerry would ultimately decide not to run after assessing how much strength he had in his party; as it is, most of his aides from the 2004 campaign have moved on.
Kerry, as the 2004 failed candidate and we can now see, the conscience of the Democratic Party, is lighting the way. Getting the troops out of Iraq must be the sole focus of the party of surrender for the next two years, and nothing can distract them from this.
Therefore, it is incumbent on the Democratic Party to demostrate the depth of its commitment to surrender, and forego any presidential distractions at this critical time in our history. Hillary Clinton, stop being so selfish. Barack Obama … stop being so vain. You too, John Edwards. The rest of you … I know I’ll remember your names if I work on it. Out of the race. Leave silly, meaningless pursuits like the White House that to the shallow, grasping Republicans. It’s all about getting unstuck from Iraq now.
Howard Kurtz at WaPo on Kerry’s exceedingly long jawboning goodbye.

Kerry dropped out because he knew he could NEVER live down his stupid “troops are stupid” remarks. Good riddance @sswipe.
Clinton is not to be trusted and unless she’s 100% done with menopause, she could be her own worst enemy. Menopausal women can say/do very scary things.
Barack Hussein Obama is an effiminate black muslim. Will always be a muslim. And has been outed as such. Damage control is futile. Too bad. So sad. NOT!
Edwards is their only hope. He is the only one not too dirty/scary (so far) to win the dem nom.
