Nature, Less Dumb Than Originally Thought

Bad news for the environmentalists who are opposing Cape Wind … the proposal to plant 130 wind turbines in Ted Kennedy’s picture window view of Nantucket Sound.  A Danish study shows that contrary to Mass Audubon’s prediction of more than 6,000 bird deaths a year, sea birds are smart enough to avoid the blades. 

Drunk boaters, maybe more of a problem.
