Surge Works
Fascinating news from Iraq. Apparently, when you throw more troops into Baghdad and start kicking in doors, breaking heads and taking names, violence drops. AP reports this ahead of the surrender vote in Congress. Hello, anyone paying attention over there? Stop yourself before you do something stupid … I mean, something else stupid.

According to pro-war theology, if the terrorists aren’t in Baghdad, doesn’t that mean they’re headin’ to America?

I hope they take the vote and everyone goes on the official record as fighting the president on the surge, with a willingness to further endanger the troops they voted to send into battle. Show the whole world the quality of “leadership” in Congress.

Amazing. Show the jihadis that you’re willing to kick the crap out of them, and they scatter like the impotent cockroaches they are. I think we lost sight of this principle for a while.

We still have less than one soldier for every square mile of Iraq, Reb.
They don’t have to scatter far.
