Ad Libby Trial
I’d call this brilliant satire, except that every goddamned, bitter word of it is true. Victoria Toensing in a Washington Post oped states the case for indicting Special Persecutor Patrick Fitzgerald; former Deputy Suckretary of State Richard Armitage; the Cover Its Ass; the Justless Department, former U.S. Self-Aggrandizer Joseph Wilson, and large sections of the traitor media among others for the shameless waste of money called the Libby trial … which was preceded, as Toensing notes, by two years of harassment at great taxpayer’s expense of a number of individuals.

My, my, my. The odor is rank. The source: the putrefaction of whole institutions that pose as the protectors of the interests of the American people. Among the atrocities they’ve committed in the name of protection are the undermining of a president and a country at war, the creation of a false view of this war, and doing harm to the troops who are actually protecting the American people (and doing a great deal more besides). In the process, they’ve shown themselves to be petty, thoughtless, unprincipled, self-serving, gossipy toadies to their own biases, which characteristics they’ve now put on display for the whole world to see.
Shame on them all.

Toensing Issues Indictments in CIA Case
Victoria Toensing goes nuclear. Fitz and Joe Wilson get frogmarched. Along with a whole lot of others.

The problem is our political class, which now believes that the business of politics means a witch hunt against every sitting president, aided and abetted by ratings-hungry Old Media. Even the communists couldn’t have come up with a better conspiracy.
