Memo to Iran
Supreme Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and SyrPres Bashir Assad meet, draw a red line under everything the Bush administration has been saying.
Memo to Khamenei and Assad. You need to talk to Ajad’s PR people. The way to undercut an embattled US president is not to get all Cold War:
“Realities in the region show that the arrogant front, headed by US and its allies, will be the principal loser in the region,” the broadcast quoted Khamenei as saying in a meeting with Syrian president Bashar Assad.
Assad has now left Iran after a two-day visit to discuss Iraq and other regional issues with senior Iranian officials, including Khamenei and president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
During his visit, Assad accused the US and Israel of trying to harm the regional positions of Iran and Syria by raising questions about their roles in Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine.
“Through effort and co-ordination we have to enlighten public opinion about the ominous aims of the US and Zionists,” said Assad.
You want to have a softball, peace-love-dove interview with Diane Sawyer:
“We shy away from any kind of conflict and any kind of bloodshed, and we will be sad by such. We are opposed to any kind of conflict and as we have said repeatedly we think the world problem can be solved through the use of logic and a sense of friendship. There is no need for the use of force.”
“When it come to Iraq, we have made it clear that kind of lack of security, insecurity in Iraq is also to our disadvantage and also disadvantage to the nations of the region.”
Flower child talk will play much better with the surrender enthusiasts who now control Congress. Trust me. Even Hillary, who’s been holding out, has jumped into the Obama-Murtha camp. Don’t mess it up!
Here we go. It’s a little different, but something the Surrender Camp can get behind. Iran has “evidence” US behind Zahedan blasts. You know, if we’re going to be blowing crap up in Iran … and I hope we are … I also hope they’re scouting out better targets than a busload of bully boys in Nowhere-abad, East Squatistan. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I’m guessing the East Squatistanis have probably had it to here with the mullahs and wouldn’t mind some help.

I believe Obama and Murtha when they say they would end the war forthwith, because they are cowardly asshats. Hillary is just lying through her teeth to get votes.

Rebecca, it doesn’t matter is she’s lying. The effect is the same as if she were serious. These people have blood on their hands–American and Iraqi blood.
