Six Attack Plans and a Hanging

Allah at HotAir has a roundup of Brit papers, Seymour Hersh and others breathlessly revealing plans to bomb Iran since last summer, up to the latest rather obvious plan revealed by the BBC to bomb the daylights out of not only nuke sites but all kinds of military infrastructure.  Pretty much what you’d want them to do.

The Beeb talks about the potential for a mass casualty incident in Iraq being traced back to Iran as a trigger for an attack.  How about just for a kangaroo court’s decision to hang this guy in public less than a week after that bombing that killed 11 Quds thugs?  Stay tuned for half the Muslim world to start burning Ahmadinejad in effigy over this savage travesty of justice, also indignant denunciations by the elected heads of Europe. Because, as we found out recently, it is wrong to hastily execute a mass murderer after a show trial.

Iran is quite indignant about being on the receiving end of terrorism for a change, by the way, as noted in the hanging link above:

At Iran’s request, the United Nations Security Council condemned the deadliest terrorist attack in the country in years and extended “sincere condolences” to the Iranian people - but not to their government, at US insistence.

Acting US ambassador to the UN, Alejandro Wolff, said it was “a rich irony” that Tehran, which has refused to implement a council resolution demanding suspension of its uranium enrichment program, asked the council to adopt the statement condemning the attack.

“We rejoice in the fact that the government recognises that the council is the supreme body to deal with issues of international peace and security,” Wolff said in the session last week a day after the bombing. He then urged Iran to implement its obligations under council resolutions.

I would also rejoice in the fact that the mullahs recognize terrorism is a criminal outrage, except we know they maintain very particular standards about what they consider to be terrorism.
