The wingnuts deny for years that Iraq is just like Vietnam, but the moment it looks like the party is gonna end, the comparisons to Vietnam suddenly come out?
The irony-free right strike again.

alphie:
You got it backwards again you intellectual inbreed.
Understand this boyo. There is a large and growing portion of this nation’s population that will gladly take the life of every single one of you idiot leftards if that’s what it takes to prevent you traitors from engineering another mass slaughter like y’all pulled off for the Cambodians and other Indochinese peoples.
The blood of millions is on your head. You owe a blood debt and that debt will be called due before long.
The islamists want you dead because you aren’t an islamist. The majority of your own citizenry are beginning to want you dead because you are a betrayer.
All you have on your side are ivory tower dysfunctionals, cowards and weak sucks.
There will be no where for you to run, no where for you to hide.
Personally, I’m looking forward to the day.

Funny the Iraqis don’t think there’ll be a slaughter when we stop occupying their country, Grimmy.
Grimmy, violence is as common as dirt. Try to contribute something more than any criminal could to America.

Grimmy, there are some people not worth the price of a bullet, or a length of rope, or a breath, or the wear and tear on one’s keyboard. You also must make exceptions for the mentally deficient.
There is an argument that could be made that the ignorant have little excuse for this kind of ignorance these days. But second-handers like the toad live in fear of not belonging. Since he’ll never sit at the table of the cool kids, he must find some group that will take him without much to-do. What’s better than a bunch of folks that only require one to chant rote lessons?

I’m always glad when someone acknowledges when they are wrong. The concerns of the Left for the poor oppressed folk of Southeast Asia disappeared into the ether like the smoke from their bongs once the facts on the ground showed the nature of the communists–just as did their concerns for every other people who ended up under some communist tyrant’s gun.
Then there are those who never learn, refuse to see, ignore the stench of decaying headless bodies–those who do their bit to ensure that the world is never rid of such atrocities.

Remember 1975
Killing fields then and now Scott Johnson The Times (London) is giving away a DVD of The Killing Fields to readers today. It has accordingly called on William Shawcross to comment on the film and has published his column Remember:

Salty,
As we’ve seen in Iraq, when your strategy is based completely on fantasy, things tend to go rather badly.
After the North Vietnamese kicked America’s arse, then booted the corrupt puppet government we’d set up in the South, they swung into Cambodia and put a stop to the genocide our bombing had touched off.
If the Iraqis want us to remain in their country, let’s let them vote on it, shall we?
Iraq is a democracy after all, right?

Once again the toad shows his ignorance of history–even recent history. If I were someone like the toad, I’d be suing the pants off of whatever school pretended to give me an education. I’d inform his ignorance, but my taxes already went to pay for his education the first time around and look at the result. I’ll not waste further effort, since the toad has shown time and again that all effort is wasted.

Once again, one would have to think it genetic, an outright idiocy, revisionist history, outright disloyalty, turncoat to country, or flat out communist thinking, aka “useful idiot”, alphie just can’t seem to get facts correct.
This, After the North Vietnamese kicked America’s arse did not happen. U.S. Troops left in 1973. South Vietnamese were courageously fighting on UNTIL the U.S. Congress, filled with wimpy little girls like, alphie, cut off funding in 1975.
All the while the simpaticos of the U.S. Congress, allowed the Soviets continued to fund the North after the ink dried, until the North, the Soviets and Soviet sympathizers in this country had accomplished their goal of grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory.
The Left, did not care one damn bit at Pol Pots or the communist North’s intra-genocide, the Left doesn’t care of African genocide, (AIDS being the exception and in that Bush is outspending what Clinton did, by at least 3 times, if not more)the Left did not care for Stalins killing fields, Mao’s killing fields, Hitlers (a Socialist movement) genocide, Japanese Imperialist genocide.
Everything bad, is America’s fault, to these gutless, sniveling sympathizers and collaborators. They prefer A displacement of blame on America and its allies, over the real dealers of death, in every instance.
People like alphie, are not only a disgrace to American society, they are a disgrace to humanity. People like alphie think (to use the term loosely) that ‘they’ will be a gilded class, should the new and more dangerous threat (if one believes it is new, coming from the mid to late 70’s of radical Islam. Wrong again.
What use will radical Islam have for sniveling cowards? What use will radical Islam have for those that think only THEIR words count and are free to speak those words?
People like alphie, will be the first on their knees, easier to chop heads in that position. When that occurs, should the U.S. lose is, people like alphie have nothing in those heads, there is no loss.

I issue a regret for the use of the term wimpy little girls.
