Unaborted

Ala, sagacious blonde that she is, raises a couple of good points about the lawsuit vs. abortionists who botched one.

I want to know more about the daughter. Does she love her? Does she regret that she’s alive or is it all about the money? What will she tell her about her birth?  What will she do when her daughter is old enough to Google her name?

… Imagine growing up with the woman that sued because you lived.

Wrongful life is pretty weird legal, not to mention parental, territory to get into. As commenter Cid put it, “Having your Kate and eating it too.”

Geez, where’s John Edwards when you need him?

Oh yeah, he’s out running for Prez’, uttering something about Jesus would be “appalled”.

Massachusetts’ high court ruled in 1990 that parents can sue physicians for child-rearing expenses, but limited those claims to cases in which children require extraordinary expenses because of medical problems.

Wow, didn’t know that, well until now.

Guess that could be called, having your Kate and eating it too.

Jeez, that is simply……disturbing. I agree with Ala, I pity the poor child, with a mother like that.

Not a good cause of action in most states.

Yet another sign that we have too many lawyers in this country.
