Oh, please! That has to be the stupidest thing I’ve read in a long time, including idiocy about polar bears. Their reasons make no sense whatsoever. “Persecution” of their brothers in America with all the wars Bush has started? What?
I’m sorry TRJ, but it doesn’t sound to me like these yahoos are capable of exorcising much of anything. Oh wait.

Of course, they’ll be charging the tourists admission to see these “purification rites”, and there will be hordes of little guys on bicycle carts at the bottom of the pyramids, waiting to take the tourists back to their buses, and plenty of beer, snacks, and T-shirts in the stalls outside the “sacred grounds”. Win-win for the Maya!
