Now, do you think if you sat down with Hugo for a drink, just guys talking, he’d admit that he needs George Bush and America? He’s got all that oil money, Venezuela’s future, that he’s pissing away. That makes him a big man. But el Diablo Bush gives him an edge, rally brings the crowds out and makes them crazy for Hugo. He wouldn’t be able to do that schtick with Kerry, Obama. Maybe with Hillary, but he’d probably be afraid to. She really is la Diabla. She’d put the evil eye on him, make his stuff shrivel up. President Chimpy, the sulfur-stinking diablo, plays way to nice.

I’m sorry, but I cannot stand this. A bunch of looters and thugs stand around and demand that Americans give give give of every form of our wealth, and insist that they have a right–a right–to tell us the how, and the what, and the why of our policies, by virtue of the fact that they can’t make their own countries work for more than five minutes under their various systems of corruption. How many times have we forgiven their debts, shelled out aid, opened our doors to their refugees fleeing mass death and destruction, and then listened to their ever widening demands? And Bush grabs a forelock and explains that we care and are compassionate? Piss on them.

Well I guess they can always refuse to sell us their oil or whatever.
There were cities in Latin America when the Puritans landed at Plymouth Rock. I suggest they stop blaming the gringo and look a little closer to home for someone to blame for their problems.

In about 5-7 years Canadian tar sands operations render Chavez irrelevant. Shell’s got one plant running NOW that is slated to be producing the equivalent of 5% of total VE output once its next expansion is completed — one plant, 5% of VE output.
Comrade Chavez will have to drink his oil soon.
