It would be nice to know that we’d had a mole in Iran since 2003. Regardless, anything that upsets the Iranians is a plus.

Interesting that Iran is trotting out people they claim to be his family. If true, the good general was snatched, and someone really overstepped diplomatic boundaries. Things might get ugly.
But I doubt that those people are in fact his family. It smells of counterspin from the Iranians, so they can hype up his departure as a snatch, and try to apply diplomatic pressure on whoever has him to react. Perhaps the Iranians are hoping his family will turn up on a broadcast somewhere.
It’s really weak, and depends on the media to do the selling, not to mention on whomever has the general to be stupid. Very stupid.
But I do believe I smell the Iranian government sweating……and it smells good.
