Imambush
Last year’s Flying Imams are back … in court … taking aim not only at US Airways and the Twin Cities airport commission, but at unnamed John Does. The other passengers their antics alarmed.

It also rehearses a catalogue of harms allegedly suffered by the imams, including fear, depression, mental pain and financial injury. They have not only endured exhaustion, humiliation and ridicule, but also have lost sleep and developed anxiety about flying.
Anyone named in this ridiculous lawsuit should immediately file a countersuit claiming exactly these reasons.

Terrorism through our legal system. Wonderful.

Well, you can’t say that these guys don’t know what to attack if their purpose is to end their frustration over not being able to repeat 9/11. I have no doubt that trying to figure out what to do to get back on track has given them cause for many sleepless nights. That kind of frustration can cause all sorts of personal problems.
Persistence pays, however, and they finally came up with a plan! “Prominent” religious figures making a fuss at the airport in order to file a law suit that not only targets profiling, but includes addressing the problem of having passengers stop the Richard Reids of jihad from lighting up their shoes, et al, has a certain sly cunning to it–and kills two birds with one stone, so to speak.

If any of the people who were on board the aircraft wishes to sue the Imams, I will pay $100.00 towards the costs of the lawsuit. I do not think I am the only one who will do so.

Excellent idea, John! Anyone with a blog (No, not putting you on the spot, Jules) could set up a website for donations. I’d love to see the Minneapolis Six get sued out of house and home, and their frickin’ mosque too!

I’ll chuck in a century note as well — an excellent notion, John!

I understand that LGF is a clearing house for pro bono defenders. Maybe not a clearing house but at least a list. That would be nice.
Now personally I think that someone should surreptitiously enter each imam in the nearest cage fight and provide escorts to the event.
