Non-Friend of Bill
Via Instapundit, Sweetness&Light’s must-read chronology of Joe Wilson’s sea change on Iraq, WMD, Saddam. With evidence that Wilson, in an extended blabfest, outed his own (non-covert*) wife.
*Instapundit reader William Casey emails: “After watching the Valerie Plame-Wilson hearing, it is obvious that the CIA keeps the covert status of their agents so secret that even the agents don’t know whether they are covert or not.”

“During her employment at the CIA, Ms. Wilson was under cover.
Her employment status with the CIA was classified information prohibited from disclosure under Executive Order 12958.
At the time of the publication of Robert Novak’s column on July 14,2003, Ms. Wilson’s CIA employment status was covert.
This was classified information.”
Hmm. Whom to believe here: Gen. Hayden, chief of the CIA? Or Jules Crittenden, blogmeister? Hmm. Tough one. Hmm.
