The AP actually does some useful, original reporting in Baghdad that appears to be well stood up. The Mahdi Army is splintering … al-Sadr loyalists lacking leadership drifting off, extremists being actively recruited by Iran. There’s bad news and good news in this. The bad news is that from the sound of it, they are up to no good. The good news is, more evidence of Iran’s true intentions and methods for those who think we should be using our words. As opposed to speaking with our weapons.
