Aye of the Beholder
Colonial art is retroactively commandeered to enviro cause, prompting deep thought re a Dutch master:
re Rembrandt’s Night Watch, “How did this picture reflect the military-industrial complex of the period?”
Or maybe re Tom Roberts “Shearing the Rams” – “Did the shearers first obtain the rams’ consent? Was the owner-grazier an equal-opportunity employer? Etc”

Absolutely brilliant, Rebecca! Thanks for a much needed hardyharharharhar! I needed it today.
Stupid highly “educated” people, who need to be dropped into a large wooded area and told to survive or not as their concern for Gaia and education allows.
