A Moronocy of Dunces
Moron offsets for Sean Penn.
High moron honors to whoever wrote and/or edited this NYT article that painstakingly lays out the evidence of Iran’s murderous interference in Iraq, pointing out how quiet diplomacy has been attempted and rebuffed, and then, as PJM notes, closes with a demand for more diplomacy. It’s almost as if this wasn’t happening.
Uh oh. More morons in my business.
UN Watch director Hillel Neuer tells the UN Human Rights Commission what a pile of corruption it is. Council president, shorts quite twisted, says Hillel must be more polite. Hillel, no moron, kicks ass in this must-view moron takedown.
Boortz: No monopoly on moronitude.
Wise beyond his protein, Jeff crosschecks the veracity of local moronists.
Rosie plows moronically through history, current events, foreign policy and geography.
Congressmen think the disregard of sentiments and exercise of a veto is impeachable. (For the record, I think Rosie might be smarter and better informed than some of these morons)
Cockburn wants the wrong guy to apologize, and that isn’t the only reason Cockburn’s on this list.
Kerry continues to think its all about him. That’s moronic.
So does Gore. But most Americans don’t. What a Gore-on.
What moronocy is complete without the hapless kangaroo skinner? On the subject of moroniness, Tim Blair also brings us this. (Language alert)
Glad to have some Webb representation. More on Webb another time.
Hillary is “cultivating relationships” with the military. M-word.
I’d call this woman a moron, but compared to what most people strap around themselves in that neighborhood, she’s a courageous and highly intelligent entrepreneur.
Moron on moron. Or pink on pink, if you prefer.
VC brings us a concise, easy-to-read version of the moron victory plan.
Sen. Bond questions whether Valerie Plame’s memory has improved with time. At the CIA, I’m sure they could come up with a word for doing that on the record.
These people must think we’re all morons.
Ace offers up 47 minutes of “9/13 Republican” Evan Sayet’s take on many, many morons. I watched the first 5 and if the rest is this good, as Ace says it is, I hope I can find another 42 minutes somewhere.
These morons are geniuses.
And so, morons all, we march on. (h/t The Real JeffS)
Welcome Punditeers. Indulge your inner moron, stick around. Tony Blair is headed out of moron territory. Jimmy Carter rules there. Go and tell the morons, ignoring their attempts to pass laws, we are winning in Iraq. Be sure not to miss me and a bunch of my pals, being morons back when this all started.

I don’t know how many times in recent memory I’ve thought of Kornbluth’s story, “The Marching Morons”.
This post is yet another time that story comes up. Ha!

Stupid is as stupid says
The Monk disagrees with Crittenden’s choice of target. Instead, the morons are the US government for putting up with this nonsense without giving Iran a severe swatting and the Iraq Study Group itself, which was filled with realpolitikers, eminence gr…

Is it too late to work up some brackets for a March Moron Madness tournament? I’ll take just about any odds on “drownded seals.” A moron tax is clearly superior to moron offsets: you can set the level high enough to reduce the negative externality to any desired level while preventing incumbent rent-seekers (vis. Hollywood, D.C.) from hoarding the moronicity and robbing the less fortunate of its pleasures.
With regard to the Webb handgun story, I have three words: involuntary term limits.

The world is swimming in morons. It’s unfortunate that so many of them go into the entertainment business, like, for instance, politics.
