I suspect his friends got tired of his going on and on about global warming.. you know, how it was melting the glaciers and before you know it they’d all have to move outta their caves and stop wearing furs, etc.. The mastadons were gonna die off and we’d all have to eat grains and cereals, and become farmers, and then the Rednecks would come and that would be it for civilisation.
