Repent!

The End is Near

… Actual climatologist who specializes in catastrophic weather calls Al Gore “one of these guys that preaches the end of the world type of things.”

“I think he’s doing a great disservice and he doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” says Dr. William Gray, an emeritus professor at the atmospheric science department at Colorado State University, who has long railed against the theory that heat-trapping gases generated by human activity are causing the world to warm.

Over the past 24 years, Gray, 77, has become known as America’s most reliable hurricane forecaster.

Tthe Goracle was unavailable for comment, naturally.

Personally, I wish some global warming would get here, as it’s in the mid-30’s here in New Jersey.

When you’re 77 years old, it’s hard to get worked up about the fate of the world.

Why not pocket a few wingnut welfare bucks?

I can’t imagine a school like Colorado State U. paid him enough to retire on.

Dr. Gray is a denialist. Burn him! Burn him at the stake! Burn him now!!

After buying the appropriate carbon credits from Algore, of course. We must all be carbon neutral, mustn’t we?

The best way I’ve found to sequester carbon is planting moonbats in cement overshoes in the east river. Their carbon is locked away for centuries that way.

It’s nice to see there is at least one sane professor in Colorado.

After all the weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth by the leftists over Ward Churchill, you’d think every campus was doomed. Maybe there is a small window of hope there after all.

    Respects,

You know what bothers me? People like Alphie think that the rest of the world stood by and waited for a state school to provide us enough to retire on. The rest of us know better. Having been intelligent enough to know better, we don’t teach to make money, and then rely on the rest of the world to take care of us. We are smart enough to make decisions based on more than the money paid to say what others want us to. Moonbats don’t see that. They think we are all as monetarily as superficial as they are, and even more unable to invest and plan forward.

  7. The_Real_JeffS Says:

    Moonbats don’t see that.

Of course not, Tim. Moonbats themselves have sold (cheaply, I might add) themselves to an ideology, one that promises to take care of them (y’know, like the Cuban paradise). Therefore, everyone else has to be the same. It’s a matter of projection, you see.

They haven’t the imagination to understand that people can and do make their own decisions, independent of any collective, and need not depend on any political entity for financial support. They also tend to be very shortsighted, relying on emotive reactions in lieu of reason for their decision making process.

BTW, you imply that you are a teacher at a higher institution of learning, and that you teach in the old meaning of the word. If so, my thanks. The world needs more like you, and Dr. Gray as well.

Whoops! My humblest apologies, SunniKay! I addressed that to Tim by mistake…..egads, I need more caffeine this morning!!!!
