Quagmire! Disaster! Debacle!
Another top al Qaeda leader Abu Omar al-Baghdadi reportedly killed in Iraq. This, combined with news that Sunni tribes now cooperating with the government may have killed al-Qaeda leader al-Masri, and the damned drop in sectarian violence, can only be taken as a sign of impending disaster!
UPDATE: They can’t even keep their story straight on who they are killing! It’s a debacle!

Methane emissions from flooded rice paddies contribute to global warming just as coal-fired power plants, automobile exhausts and other sources do with the carbon dioxide they spew into the atmosphere.
In fact, the report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change meeting this week in Bangkok concludes that rice production was a main cause of rising methane emissions in the 20th century. It calls for better controls.
“There is no other crop that is emitting such a large amount of greenhouse gases,” said Reiner Wassmann, a climate change specialist at the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines.

You know, I think almost everyone who posts here is missing something obvious. ‘Progressives’ are not stupid, they have a clear plan. They are determined to stop Bush, they hate Bush, no? So, therefor, they are determined to stop the war, because they want to rob Bush of a win. If the war is won, the credit goes to Bush. Notice, that as Patraeus succeeds, Pelosi and company panic, shout meaningless invective, and try reckless legislation to stop the war. To them this is not treachery, it’s high Moral Relativism, where the highest moral good is ‘Progressivists’ controlling the Presidency, and both houses. They are willing to do ANYTHING to achieve that, including stopping the US military in its tracks.
