She’s been in the job for 54 years; she’s much smarter than people think; she’s met Mr Bush more than once; she is probably glaring at the President as an alternative to laughing, which would be an impolitesse. Besides, after the President ad libbed about her look being that of a mother to an erring son, she did smile.

Well at least he didn’t put his boots on the table this time. I b’leve they tried to pillory him w/ that during the Y2K election. His lack of respect during a state visit to his daddy, etc.
How, exactly, would one tell the the Daily Mail where to go and what to do in the British vernacular? I’m afraid my Cracker accent would make me incomprehensible, and we can’t have that.
