5 KIA 3 MIA
Patrol of seven soldiers and an Iraqi interpreter came under fire outside Mahmoudiya this morning. When backup arrived, five were dead and three were missing. Intense search underway. MIAs, a very rare event that hasn’t ended well in the past.

Seems like Sunnis. If it were Shites, I’d think perhaps they were to be used as barter for the 5 Iranians. I agree, we need to pray.
