Talk Talk

Cheney’s flak, in Egypt as he makes the rounds, says the United States is ready for ambassador-level talks with Iran on Iraq.*  Which could be useful if the correct message is conveyed.

*Note to Peace Grandma: This is protocol for contact with belligerent nations, to avoid sending them confusing messages via unauthorized freelancers.  Here’s another appropriate way of delivering messages to belligerents. It’s the big stick part.

Iran says OK.
