Good News Bad News
No news isn’t good news, but they’re still voicing optimism about three missing soldiers. FBI, Australian forensic experts involved.
Good news in Baqouba when “suspected fighters attack.” What’s to suspect? They get repulsed, killed. Others scooped. Bundled with tragic news of Iraqi newsmen killed.
Dance your way out of this one. Bollywood star faces sentencing on terrorism charges.
News for people who think talks with Iran might be productive. Meanwhile …
In other Mideast news, Israel speaks Hamas’ language. It’s not news that Hamas isn’t interested in peace, is it? Read up on the subject.
Nor that Murtha is unhinged. Waiting to see if Congress is capable of committing news, we are treated to some theater.
Hold up. News. Congress and Bush finally agree on something. Too bad no one else likes it. No good news about illegal border crossing this week until you get to this part. Good thing they’re enjoying themselves. If you want to laugh, too, see what happens when you line the old news up against the new news.
While you were distracted with the big green card-a-palooza, Congress made tax news. Nothing good about it.
What kind of news is this? They accept his ”mistake,” cleared through channels, was made “in good faith,” but he gets forced out. Great news for the Euros/Bush-bashers is what it is. Man, that was nasty. Who’s next? Euros saying its not about who gets chosen, but how. As in, not by Bush.
In other non-scandal news, Gonzales faces a vote of no confidence. News for the Dems … this ain’t Parliament. Too bad for them, their 1.5 percent margin might be worth something. Though that vote of no confidence in Pelosi’s leadership choice would have been problematic. In other Gonzales business, McNulty trips, falls under bus.
News that could set you free: Fill ‘er up with H2O-test. Think how much money you could save with this baby. But something tells me some people will never like this news.
Lack of Sex in the City news: Women of Gotham seek love in all the wrong places.
Angry hookers protest with free sex in this city.
Shocking news to Greenpeace: Exxon still denies Gospel of Warmth. Which looks more like religion every day.
Speaking of religion in the news, Falwell meets his maker, media makes his meter.
Simian news. Monkeys against surrender.
Good News … Kerry has a challenger. Bad News, the challenge is from farther out in left field. Kerry isn’t anti-war enough. Doesn’t matter, unseating an incumbent Dem in Massachusetts is highly unlikely.
FBI agents, Muslim students and a cinderblock in the news.
It was news to me that George Bush had been awarded a Purple Heart. (unbridled snark alert).
As a former boy heavily involved in experimentation with fire, explosives, jumping and riding bikes off of things, sharp objects and projectiles of many descriptions, I endorse this news.
Hey … not fair to hold newspeople to their own standard!
Something Right about this news.
Arrr, mateys, what news of the Spanish Main?
That’s the news. No news too big or too little.

Murtha is unhinged.
Congress is full of surrender monkeys.
A Muslim “student” throws a cinderblock at an FBI agent.

The Eschaton And Its Discontents
Kathy Shaidle writes, “while the Left was unfairly accused of ‘creating’ 9/11, what they really were responsible for was… Jerry Falwell himself. Without the ERA, Roe v. Wade, Engel v. Vitale and the radical gay and feminist movements, the rise…
