Islamic Shennanigans of Boston

Although in Massachusetts the bar on what consititutes malice and libel in reporting on public officials has dropped to the floor and the bar for accuracy and fairness is through the roof, one may still report on questionable public land deals and links to Islamic extremism.*  For the moment.** Islamic Society of Boston drops all claims vs. Boston Herald, Fox, David Project, etal.  No settlement, it’s just over.

** Let’s not get crazy. This is still Massachusetts.

   They press the advantage we’ve given them (political correctness) until the unpleasant truth about them begins to emerge. Then they retreat. It’s a strategic withdrawal, nothing more.

   From what I can see at the Islamic Society of Boston website this was no victory, except for the ISB. Everything returns to the status quo ante at the time of the original lawsuits, meaning that the mosque will be built and any malfeasance on the part of the Society or the Development Authority will go unpunished.

   Please correct me if I am wrong.
