Bush’s Fault

Of course.  It has nothing to do with the Palestinian people’s decision to elect a terrorist organization to its government, or the failure of moderate leaders to rid themselves of corruption and exercise true leadership.

The spectacle of Palestinians committing atrocities against Palestinians far beyond any of Israel’s supposed crimes ”illustrates the failure of Bush’s Mideast policy.”  It couldn’t possibly suggest that the Palestinian people are incapable of governing themselves and under present circumstances decades, possibly centuries from that.

The famous last words of a Fatah gunman prior to be executed by Hamas gunmen, “We’re not Jews!”  brought the retort from a Jewish colleague of mine, “Well, you are now.” But the truth is, while the Palestinians would do to the Jews what they are doing to each othr if they had half a chance, the Jews would not do this to them, nor to each other.

In addition to Bush’s fault, of course, it is Israel’s fault. I’m seeing some Arab fear. Where is the Arab shame? Here’s a thought. How about doing something?

Well, the U.S. did train and equip troops for the losing side (as usual).

Any group that wins a popular election and a civil war is the legitimate government, no matter how much will-power the the perpetual war crowd beams at them.

  2. corndog Says:

No, no, Alphie, this is all part of the plan. You see, according to the Bush administration “The new levels of attacks “fit a pattern that we see throughout the region, which is that when you see things moving towards success, or when you see signs of success, that there are acts of violence.”

So you see, the strategy of trying to starve Hamas into submission has worked out just great, and this is really a huge success. Not to worry.

    You have winners here, Jules.

They resemble me, on the greens…Two Putts.

As Theo Spark states it…. http://theospark.blogspot.com/

  5. El Cid Says:

    Oh my, I misspelled

I meant TWO PUTZes, at least for the two winners you have, Jules.

These people murder their own daughters for looking at boys. How can anyone be surprised that they can’t run a country without murdering each other? And how can anyone, in good conscience, excuse that (see first two comments)?

“And how can anyone, in good conscience, excuse that…?”

It helps if you’ve turned your brain into a pretzel, but I suspect that in this case, the stated concern for the people of Gaza don’t really exist–except as an excuse to point their fingers at others. They are not serious people. They are not interested in serious questions. There is nothing but death and destruction and they are not interested in anything but schoolyard BS. Their tears are cheap crocodile tears.

But it all makes them feel very good and vastly superior at little or no cost to themselves. As for the mules they use to carry the burden of their virtue? Pffft.

[...] Lunacy, Anti-Americanism, Palestine. trackback While Jules Crittendon has been rounding up people blaming the current Palestinian collapse on Bush and Israel, LGF has a study that shows once again that the level of support for terrorism among Muslims [...]

You know, I never understood why conservatives got upset with Rice about the Pallie elections. Arabs have the right to vote for the Nazi of their choice, and they did. Of course, the Eurotrash and the Beautiful People blamed things on Bushhitler and the Jooooos, so what’s new?

The irony here is so rich. Instead of Paradise on Earth, they’ve created some Hamastan reminiscent of the worst sub-Sarahan Africa that would make Mugabe proud.

And they got exactly the kind of government they deserved. Democracy is great that way.
