Particle Accelerator for Jihad–
“utter murderousness trumped weaseling deception”– Great analysis at PJMedia. This could be a disaster for Hamas and Fatah. A lose lose situation. I’m sure Iran wants war with Israel sooner than later. Hamas (Iran) wants the West Bank too. I hear a car bombing campaign is in the “offing”.
Scott over towncommons also had a similar take as you did–without the glorious humor.

It’s my take that watching this has been a like a viewing a particle accelerator of jihad. The elements came smashing together and impacted with unpredicable results. This event needs to be studied, ultilized.
When Islamists overreach they reveal weakness in thought and action.
On the other hand Ralph Peters captured the essence of the religious fanatic in battle with his article
WHY HAMAS WON
By RALPH PETERS
Outgunned, outnumbered and Hamas still made “Fatah fold like a pup tent in a tornado”. This is very scary for our situation in Iraq. He goes on to say the “government in Iraq wouldn’t last a week with US troops”.
Frightening thought.
Final note:
JImmy Carter wants us to fund Hamas! Morons Triumphant!
