Offset Your Carbons
All the way to China:
BEIJING, China (AP) — Developed countries are hypocritical for criticizing China’s greenhouse-gas emissions while buying products from its booming manufacturing industry, the Chinese government said.
You know what this means, right? If you want to save the planet from imminent doom, you’re going to need to lose, let’s see, the big-screen TV, the laptop, the desktop, the kid’s toys, all that Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn stuff. Your furniture, the wall-to-wall carpeting. Pretty much everything you own. Better check your labels and see if you have to go naked.
Wait a minute. Turns out global warming is good for Antarctic sealife. Could even be part of the mechanism that reverses same. How about that. Earth warms up, earth cools off, self-correcting system? There’s an interesting notion. Before that happens, how quick can we get some Russian factory ships and the Japanese whaling fleet down there? Sounds like good fishing.

“Hypocrisy” is one of those words that got left out of the modern environmentalist’s dictionary. Could you please define it?

Boy howdy. This whole thing just seems a lot more complicated than we were led to believe. How can that be? All those consensus “scientists” and all, along with all the tranzie bureaucrats (not to mention Gore–please nobody mention Gore) coordinating things should have had everything worked out before they started telling us what to do to stop nature from being . . . er . . . natural.
