Terrorists Win
In the wake of three bungled attacks by Islamic extremists last week, Britain has capitulated. Prime Dhimmi Gordon Brown’s new edict: Don’t say terrorists are Muslims. Daily Mail:
Gordon Brown has banned ministers from using the word “Muslim” in connection with the terrorism crisis.
The Prime Minister has also instructed his team – including new Home Secretary Jacqui Smith – that the phrase “war on terror” is to be dropped.
The shake-up is part of a fresh attempt to improve community relations and avoid offending Muslims, adopting a more “consensual” tone than existed under Tony Blair.
At last report the United States is still fighting in the War on Terror, despite the fall of Britain. The situation is tenuous, however, as President Bush also is loath to accurately describe his enemy.

UPDATE…NEW INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE P.M.
Members of Her Majesty’s armed forces will now refer to anti-terrorist military operations as “The cricket match on troubled youth” in order to avoid offending the people we’re trying to kill on a daily basis in Iraq and Afghanistan.
And, remember, we will never surrender!…unless some Muslims get offended.

You might as well sneak into America, Theo. Our borders are open and unlikely to be enforced any time soon. Certainly it will save you a lot of time, as legal applicants must stand in line until the backlog is resolved.
There was some speculation at Blair dot net whether Brown would prove to be Spanish. Apparently he is.
