Totten Lands in Baghdad

Great read from Totten on just getting into the Green Zone.  Promising tour begins.

Take note of donation box at bottom. He’s patroling with 82nd next.  He’s done great work in Lebanon. About time he got to Baghdad.

Great read from Yon on cooperation talks between U.S. commander and Sunni insurgent leaders in Baquba.  You want to know what is happening in Iraq?  Read Yon. He operates on his tip jar, too. Why can’t we have an army of Yons? Baghdad press corps and their bosses back home need to watch Yon and learn.

Here’s Roggio’s most recent Iraq overview, speaking of people who have done great embedded work.

What would we do without these men! The MSM have been criminal in their failure to report this war. We’ve gotten plenty of opinion and body counts, but very little worthwhile war reporting. Were it not for men like Yon, Roggio, Totten, milbloggers and other’s like them, we’d have no real information.

I sure am glad Gore gave us this interweb thing.
