Hamas claim that they have established peace and order in Gaza, and yet saw fit to have heavily armed guards surrounding the journalists and everywhere else. Of course, all the “troublemakers” are dead or in prison, so naturally there’s no disorder. And no one spoke against Hamas (who would, with heavily armed gunmen standing around?).
But the most telling detail is the food aid that crosses over the border in trucks. They’re bottled up, at the mercy of aid from Israel and Egypt, which could be cut off should they decide to be stupid. Again.

It sounds like a Red Cross tour of Thereisanstadt. I wonder how long the good food lasted in that prisoner’s refrigerator, much less the refrigerator.
They really have studied their Nazi brothers, haven’t they.
