Now you see! Didn’t I tell you that there was nothing to be concerned about? As I said in response to the first posting here about this story, from murder at LAX to the murder of a journalist investigating the black Muslims at a certain bakery, none of these events have anything to do with terrorism. And here, the FBI tells us once again that there are no links to terrorism. These “rocket scientists” may be guilty of not being very circumspect about their activities, but they are just being guys, and guys are notorious for loving things that go boom. Nothing to see here, according to the FBI, so just move along.
I trust what the FBI tells us. Yep. They wouldn’t lie to the folks who pay their salaries. I surely do trust them.

Suppose these young engineering students were just out to build themselves some spectacular fireworks (can’t see the logic, since some pretty spectacular fireworks are already available over the counter if you know where to look). They’re college-educated, reasonably smart guys, so you’d think. They’re also Middle Eastern, presumably Muslim, and not citizens of this country which is in the middle of a war with radical Muslims. If these guys were just innocently carrying around explosives (even just for building fireworks), then they ought to be deported on the grounds of terminal stupidity.
Personally, I think the fireworks story is bollocks. I think these are two wannabe jihadibots who thought it would be cool to blow something up for Allah, so they could have street cred with the homies back in the ‘hood. They’re smirking now, but they won’t feel so smirky when the boom gets lowered, and they’re sent home sans that treasured American degree.
