Math Problem
OK, this one is going to require algebra to fully understand the ramifications, and I didn’t do too well at that in high school. But here we go. Pinkerton, Islamic extremists partner with Mexicans:Â
There’s good news, bad news and worse news on the immigration issue.
The good news is that Congress and the White House are moving forward with prudent steps, gaining control of the border, securing the homeland against terrorism and reasserting American sovereignty.
The bad news is that, in the past four decades, we’ve lost a lot of time fighting off the open-borders advocates and the anti-Western multiculturalists. Even as we now seek elementary homeland security measures - so that we can be safe in a world awash with jihadists, narcotraffickers and weapons-of-mass-destruction peddlers - we must first undo the grievous policy choices championed, and enacted, by Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) since 1965. Policies that were co-championed by quite a few Republicans, too, including George W. Bush.
Finally, the worse news is that the cheap-labor lobbyists, terrorists and world-governing globalists are all moving ahead with their various plans. That’s the conclusion to be drawn from an alarming story on the front page of yesterday’s Washington Times, which informed us that “Islamic extremists embedded in the United States - posing as Hispanic nationals - are partnering with violent Mexican drug gangs to finance terror networks in the Middle East, according to a Drug Enforcement Administration report.”
A lot to chew on there. Islamic extremists posing as Hispanic nationals? Well, Jose Padilla could have pulled that off. Your average or above-average Mo, I’m not sure. Washington Times report on DEA report doesn’t say how they know this. And does this mean they’re lining up for landscaping jobs every morning at your nearest big box hardware/home supply store? I’m guessing no. However, there is a vast subculture in our nation of under-the-counter jobs, flophousing, no-questions-asked medical care, fake documents, no documents, documents fraudulently obtained from corrupt public officials, fly-by-night financing, even cheap illegal alien sex slave brothels … a vast alternate America into which any resourceful operator could disappear.  And criminal organizations are known to cooperate with other criminal organizations for profit without much concern over moral or criminal implications. So all entirely plausible. Though the idea of extremist Mo passing as a Hispanic of one stripe or another beggars belief. Unless it’s as a Latinized Mo, of which there are probably as many as there are Americanized Mos.
Anyway, that’s the setup. Here’s the math problem. If al-Qaeda hearts Mexican drug cartels, and both heart lenient U.S. border/immigration policies, and significant elements of our government heart same … notably strange political bedfellows Edward M. Kennedy and George W. Bush … does this put Kennedy and Bush in bed with al-Qaeda, drug cartels and 12 million illegals?
Algebraically: I(Q + M) x 12,000,000 = I(K + G) x 269. Hey, that was simpler than I thought, but I got the one F of my academic career in algebra, so feel free to jump in with your thoughts on this. Note: it does not necessarily follow that K = Q or B = M, though arguments can be made on those counts. Math after all is math. Totally amoral. The answer is what it is, and nothing else. So Mr. Batson and Mr. Patterson explained it to me, anyway. Please show your work.
The counter argument, of course is that the omnibus illegal legalization bill was intended to stop illegal border hopping and bring all those illegals into the light … to wit, I(Q + M) x 12,000,000 < I(K + B) x 269 … Raise your hand if you think it would have accomplished either of those goals.

They only have to pose as Hispanics to get across the border. Once here, there are any number of Muslim communities ready and willing to take them in with a sob story of oppression back home and eagerness to take up the American dream. I find it entirely plausible that al-Qaeda is waltzing across the border this way.

Incidentally, border agents along our southern border are totally overwhelmed by the flood. It’s not likely they’re going to spot one odd-sounding brown guy in a herd of brown guys.

Heck, Rebecca, those agents sometimes miss the herds. Infiltration by jihadists is a certaint.

Globalists like Jorge Bush and champions of multiculturalism like Teodoro Kennedy and their predecessors have brought the country to this pass. Now that people seem to be waking up — even, it seems, that weenie Lindsay Graham — maybe a start can be made to undoing decades of damage. Stopping that enormous transportation corridor four football fields wide planned tfor the center of the country should be a first step. Oh, you haven’t heard about that? The right of way is already being purchased. Texas to Minnesota, and that’s just the first leg.

Lindsay Graham? You mean the Republican John Edwards?
