   So much depends on the medic or corpsman. Indeed, many times, the patient’s life and limb depends oh that first care. The doctors and nurses do their bit, but they first must have a viable patient to work on, and that’s where the medic or corpsman comes in. I’ve known some extraordinary men in that position and I’m thankful for each and every one of them.
