Is the West heading for Civil War……
We are engaged in a fight to the death with the Islamonazis who wish to impose Sharia, or their perverted version of it, upon all and sundry. This is a global problem stretching from the Middle-East to the Far East. They are gaining footholds, through poor immigration policies, in Europe and South America. The Australians seem to have had enough and are attempting to stem the flow, good for them. There again they always have been a law unto themselves. The West’s biggest problem however is…..the cancer of liberalism that is infecting our society. These are the fools who, having failed to turn the planet into a socialist ‘wonderland’ are now concentrating their attentions on the myths of ‘global warming’, the continuing struggle against capitalism (which gave them the internet, their new weapon of choice), and their standard anti-US mantra. They relish in the death of every ‘allied’ serviceman, fighting to preserve the very freedoms which give them a voice. They forget that their beloved ‘freedom fighters’ in Iraq and Afghanistan don’t really go for the freedom of speech thingy!!
They are joined in battle by the bulk of the worlds media, who have long had a liberal bent. When was the last time an accurate and honest report came out of the war zones. It is only due to the perseverance and bravery of bloggers such as Michael Yon, Bill Roggio and many others (sorry guys cannot manage to do links yet) that the truth is coming out. Recent ‘possitive’ reports in the media have only come as a result of the unaligned media, thats bloggers to you and me, forcing them to stray from the defeatist path. This is more covering their own asses than anything else. By the 2008 elections things in Iraq may be going so well that the Demoncrats will have to adopt a ‘let’s see it through position’. How that is going to stick in their craw!!
Or Islamoloonie ‘chums’ are also aided and abetted by such noble bodies as the UN and to a lesser extent the EU. Who are so far up their own self important backsides that the realities of the situation are beyond them. The UN survives on it’s premise that they are the world’s concience and all must bow before their mighty benevolence. I think it is safe to say that the residents of Rwanda, Srebrenica, the Congo, and Darfur may have a different view. Or they would if they could speak from beyond the grave. As for the poor Zimbabweans, well help is on it’s way. You just have to hang on in there for another year or five!!
Sorry, back to the Liberals. They are so hell bent on their deluded view of things that there is no chance of changing their charge towards oblivion. Their friends in the worlds media, civil services and judiciaries in many countries continue to bash America, the Allies and of course that ‘vipers nest’ Israel. They do not understand the coming threat from Islam. I am leaving the Chinese and Mad Vlad out of this. That children is another story!!
If the West and ‘Civilisation’ is to survive the century we have to start cutting out the ‘cancer of liberalism’ from our midst. This can only be done by aggressively attacking them on all fronts. Many of us now recognise the media for the biased assholes that they are but they are still the source of most peoples news. The viewers may be skeptical about what they hear, but heard it they have and it sticks in their minds. It’s a bit like on TV when the Judge tells a jury to disregard the witnesses testimony, to late they have already heard it.
If we fail to neutralise this threat from within, we are basically doomed. Well maybe not America but certainly Britain, Europe and the smaller nations. The liberals are weakening our society, allowing our enemies to gain strength for the final onslaught. The worlds despots are surviving due to this weakness and millions are suffering as a result.
The title of this piece is ‘Is the West heading for Civil War? Unless we face down and defeat liberals the world over, we are headed for a civil war between the good and the gormless and the only people who will benefit will be our enemies.

How to do links:
the silly name you give your link
Note the quotation marks and the . Don’t leave anything out. Html is unforgiving.
Very good post, but you left out “political correctness” and “liberal white guilt” in the list of diseases that need to be mitigated.

Oops. The stupid thing thought it was a real link. See what I mean about html? I’ll try putting in question marks to fool it, and hope that works.
the silly name you give your link
Remove the question marks, but nothing else, and you have your link.

Nice post!
But don’t leave out America from those nations of the West who might be doomed!
I’ve been reading Lee Harris’ new book, “The Suicide of Reason: Radical Islam’s Threat to the West.” Harris’ basic premise is that the Islamists’ barbarism and fanaticism is so foreign to our sensibilities, that we dismiss their methods as unthinkable and irrational. The terrorists are stuck in law of the jungle, and we – who are so enlightened – would never ourselves resort to such fanaticism. We just can’t comprehend it, as a society.
And that’s the problem, because we need to be more fanatical ourselves about the rightness of a values and the legitimacy of our cause. Forget moral equivalence! Man the barricades and annihilate the barbarian hordes!
Actually, I’ve only read about 3-4 chapters so far. But it’s a great book, and I’m actually not too far off the mark in my synopsis.
Here’s my brief overview of the book:

Keep it up over here!

A few quotes from Sir Winston…The last of which, is what it is going to take, to overcome the mess on this Orb. Should the West not grin AND fight, one need not concern themselves with the others.
A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject.
It is no use saying, ‘We are doing our best.’ You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.
I never worry about action, but only about inaction.
I like a man who grins when he fights.

Mr. Douglas:
Do not despair. There are sufficient numbers of Americans that understand and are well adept at gutter level conflict.
When addressing the weakness of America and/or Americans, the liberal left gets accepted as the template to display the rest of us as weak.
It’s the quiet, hard folk, the real “American Street” that such authors have zero understanding of.

Theo, Theo.
Love the totty, but the screed is too much. Leave it to a True Conservative to wax apocalyptic when your side is beginning to kick ass!
The liberation of Iraq, and the belated recognition by the US of its duty to do so, is a liberal agenda. Always was. That’s why the Dems have been so impotent in the face of its implemenation by GWB, and why they are approaching 2008 with an empty hand.
Next month I predict you’ll see the emergence of the next Democratic President of the US. Never fear; his name is David Petraeus, and his time a few years hence. Then you’ll know the system is working.
Peace.

I’ve had the thought that Petraeus will be a future Dem candidate too Eddie. If so he’ll be the first one I might votefor (might, since I’ll consider the baggage he’ll bring with him of former McGovernites) since Scoop Jackson died.
Donald, I’ve also begun Harris’ book. Based on the early part his thesis seems rather abstract. I’d agree with Grimmy, there are Americans who can and will face up to the Law of the Jungle that Harris talks about. Conversely, there are people in what he calls tribal societies who want modern ideas, and sill more (many more) who want what rational society produces, wealth, prosperity and power. Omar Fadhil comes to mind immediately. One of the problems is that guys like Osama and Ahmedinejad think they can raid the civilized people and steal that wealth and power from them.
Look at WWII and Germany. There was a case of what had been enlightened people falling into the tribal mentality Harris writes of. After much irrational lack of reasoning about the subject the remaining enlightened societies resoved to fight them and did so with remarkable and necessary savagery. There are people in our society who will revert to the tribal mentality (in Harris’ taxonomy), temporarily, when necessary. One of the reasons for the distrust between the military and the lefty nutcases is the latters’ lack of understanding of precisely that temperament, and the use of rationality and reason of the enlightenment to achieve tribal-style goals of societal survival in warfare. That is the sort of thing that Victor Davis Hanson means when he writes of the Western Way of Warfare.
Perhaps Harris is more sophisticated and less abstract later in the book, and understands these things. These are my first impressions.

To counter the usual culprits in “the end is near” isms and “doom awaits” us type reading, I suggest getting hold of a copy of American Spartans by James A. Warren.
