French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner re Iran, nukes:

“We must prepare for the worst. The worst, sir, is war.”

I’ll believe that when I see it. This may be the key phrase:

Asked if France was involved in any planning towards war, he said: “The French army is not at the moment associated with anything at all, nor with any manoeuvre at all.”

France has said repeatedly it wants the U.N. Security Council to pass tougher sanctions against Iran over its failure to dispel fears that it is secretly pursuing nuclear weapons.

“We do not want to signal anything other than ‘peace is in your interest, and in ours too,’” Kouchner said …

That begins to sound more like, “Remember what happened to Iraq!  If you don’t behave, there may be nothing we can do for you.”

I think I need to check in with my good friend the Frogman.

My Froggy friend hasn’t posted on le nouveau bellicosite, however, he is engaging in his own preparations for le plus mauvais, qui est guerre.
