Blah Blah Blah Mohammed Jihad
Remember that guy from that post yesterday who likes listening to al-Qaeda? I like listening to al-Qaeda, too. Listen to this, from al-Zawahri:
“Do not ask President Bush when the soldiers will return; ask instead how many of them will return.”
That guy needs to check in with Terrorist Death Watch and get back to his speech writer.
Simmins has only been keeping a tally since January 2006, and his conservative count has topped 9,000 in Iraq and Afghanistan on al-Zawahri’s side. In that time, maybe 1,000 U.S. soldiers havebeen killed in action. Given the threat posed by suicidal mass murderers bent on acquiring nukes and using any other means at hand, weighed against the gains in territory, resources and capability removed from enemy control, this is proving to be one of the least expensive wars in terms of loss of life that America has ever waged. Since the war started in 2001, total American dead in Iraq and Afghanistan are just over 4,200. We don’t have an accurate number of enemy dead in that time. Many tens of thousands is a fair guess, in addition to a long list of leading al-Qaeda members killed and captured.
In fact, before Zawahri could get around to his Crusader death prediction, he had this to say:
First, Al-Zawahiri expresses his condolences for the death of the martyr cleric Maulana Abd Al-Rashid Ghazi in Afghanistan, promises to avenge his death, and calls on Muslims to follow in his path and in the path of other jihad-fighting clerics. Al-Zawahiri then accuses Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf of selling Pakistan’s honor and religion, and says that Musharraf’s forces are serving “the hunting dogs of the Crusaders-Zionists.”
Don’t forget Mullah Dadullah and just the other day, Mullah Abdullah, scourge of unarmed South Korean missionaries. And every time the Taliban tries anything, bad things happen! It wasn’t like this with those Russians!
Zawahri digs deep.
Al-Zawahiri called on the Muslims in the Maghreb to bring Andalusia back into the fold of Islam, and stated that this could only be done by “purging the Islamic Maghreb of the French and the Spanish who have returned there.”
Yeah, about 800 years ago. Fair enough, we’re talking about the French and the Spanish, not known for their staying power lately. But I don’t think it’s happening. Anyway, blah blah blah Mohammed Jihad.
That guy likes to talk. But maybe we should visit with one of the American dead in this war, and look at the kind of people who are sacrificing themselves on our behalf. Meet 1st Lt. Travis Manion. Here’s what one of the Iraqis he served with said about him:
“The advisors on a MiTT team are very different from the other American forces in Iraq. They are choosing to live with us, in our ways, share the same hardships and dangers, and choose to fight alongside of us. Many days. Every day,” said Jafar. “Their blood is spilled alongside of ours on the battlefield. It mixes with ours. This is why Mulazam (lieutenant) Manion was, and will always be, our brother.”

Increasingly, all they can do is bloviate. These jihadi blowhards aren’t worth the dirt on a US soldier’s boot, and evidently Allah thinks so too.

“ask instead how many of them will return.”
Just about all of them. That’s because Muslim jihadists fight like little girls.

Actually, that’s an insult to little girls. The only way an Al Qaida “military unit” could defeat a girl scout troop is is if the Musloids disguised themselves as civilians and cut the girl scouts’ throats before they had a chance to fight back.

Character will out. We got it. They don’t.
