Dan Rather is trying to rehabilitate his legacy. It would be laughable if it weren’t so pathetic.

After reading that interview with Larry King, I’d say that “gone off the deep end” is too mild.
Rather (kof) than simply being a greedy nutter desperate for attention, it does sound better to say that he is trying to save our democracy from “big government and big corporations.” (The “big corporation” part does make him sound like he just woke up from a nap he began sometime in the late 60’s.) He’s a noble martyr, our Dan. Send him 72 virgins.

So long as those 72 virgins are relatives of Ahmadinejad, salty. I wouldn’t want to inflict Rather on any other people.
