If you wanna to do the fake crime, you gotta be ready to do the real time. Jesse MacBeth got his wish. He’s a war criminal now.
Crime, lying about war. Too bad they didn’t charge him with treason for aiding and abetting the enemy. Then, they could have hanged him. Instead, YouTube war criminal only gets five months. That’s lame. He didn’t even get hard labor. No lashes. The Abu Ghraib crowd got up to 10 years for their fake war crimes.

MacBeth may have only got five months in jail, but he’s been outed as the pathetic loser he always was and always will be for the rest of his miserable life. Be grateful not to be him.
Unless, of course, some Hollywood bigwig with issues decides to make a movie about him.

SOB deserved more than 5 months. I suppose I ought to be satisfied that he is condemned to being MacBeth for the rest of his life, but I’ve had a belly-full of these jerks claiming atrocities, and it didn’t start with this war.

I would gladly let him off the 5 month sentence in return for say, an unsupervised half hour sentence hanging out with a Marine rifle platoon, or a destroyer deck department, or a USAF PJ outfit or…
