Who Are You Voting For?
According to this, I’m most likely to vote for Rudy Giuliani, followed by John McCain, though the pair of them differ significantly on a number of issues. This survey’s findings in my case may or may not be true.
It asks your opinion on a long list of issues, some of which I don’t particularly care about, or about which I may have ambivalent feelings, or strong personal feelings but don’t believe a national jihad is likely to be anything but a distraction.
In fact, I’m a one-issue voter. Whoever is not the Democratic candidate. And I expect to vote in the primary for whoever I think has the best shot, regardless of their position on ancillary issues.

Interesting quiz, though very simplistic obviously. It put me with McCain first and Giuliani second. I can’t imagine voting for McCain, he seems like a hothead. I am a single issue voter with the Global War on Terror as my issue, but the candidate needs to do more than say they support the war. I want to hear someone making sense. That narrows the field considerably. I have been pretty impressed with Giuliani’s public comments. He seems to have a brain. But there is so much I don’t know about what it takes to be President. You have to be a good executive but also a people person, right? That combination alone is almost impossible.
Hillary is apparently scheduled to make a hard right on the war as soon as it suits her. I have a major problem with the whole pandering for votes thing. But there is one scenario under which I can imagine voting for Hillary: if she were to pick Rumsfeld as her Secretary of Defense. Somehow I doubt this will happen.

Surprisingly (to me, anyway) Mitt Romney is my choice, although Giuliani is in the top three (Rudy’s the one I favored when the race began). But, like you Jules, I’m going to end up voting for whoever is not a Democrat. I simply don’t trust them anymore on just about anything.

I’m in the “anyone but a Dhimmicrat” brigade as well. Even McCain or Guiliani, although I’d grit my teeth and wash my hands afterwards.

At this point, I’ll write in Newt Gingrich.
For the intelligence factor as well as being one of the few out there who seems to “get” the Constitution.

The only candidate I agreed with on Iraq was Tom Tancredo…

For me, it put McCain first, and Giuliani second. I only disagreed with McCain, supposedly, on one question. What they don’t measure, among other things, is the extent of my utter disgust with the dangerous McCain-Feingold stupidity. In answer to the direct question of government censorship of political speech, McCain said he wasn’t concerned about the First Amendment. I cannot help but wonder what else in the Constitution he isn’t concerned with, and how he thinks he could honestly take the oath of office. (I also must wonder, given his unconcern, how he thinks he’s lived up to the oaths he’s already taken.) No matter what, with the constant attacks on free-speech in this country, there is no way I would vote for someone who doesn’t understand the danger involved. What is left when we can’t speak out without fear of the force of the government? Guns or slavery.
Like others, unless the Republicans nominate A’jad, I’ll vote against the Dems.

Strangely enough, I came up as supporting Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson. That’s exactly who I support atm, btw.
