I can’t think of anything to say to this that wouldn’t include obscene language, conveying my opinion of the pseudo-righteously canned marching orders to celebrities.

I saw this. There were a few complaints, lots of “oh you’re not supposed to say that out loud” giggles, and applause that made me think I had accidentally switched to the Bill Maher show. Len Goodman brushed it off with the wave of his hand, stating that it was a joke.
My immediate response was “sod off, you bloody buggering git!” (I obviously watch too much British television.) It is bad enough when we have to be constantly subjected to gratuitous political remarks and comparisons in completely unrelated areas by other Americans, but intolerable when it comes from a twit of a Brit raking in the bucks from his job–which is to critique ballroom dancing, by the way.
