And a Happy Blogoversary

To the truly great Fadhil brothers, Baghdadis Omar and Mohammed, at it for four years now at Iraq the Model.  Most of us bloviate at risk of nothing more than insults and smears. They get that, too.*

Omar just emailed his Happy Blogoversary wishes and very kindly told me this is among his favorite blogs.  Likewise, Omar.  And yeah, I’m bragging. Greatest blogging honor to date: being linked there.

From the indispensible ITM today: Troops and locals stop 20 car bombs from reaching the streets of Baghdad.

* Though being called a right-wing propagandist by a left-wing propagandist is really more of a compliment than a smear.  Especially when the left-wing propagandist is just jealous that you got invited to the White House by President Bush, and he didn’t get invited to the White House by President Kerry.
