Oh really ?
And somebody should tell OBL that one of the reasons for the turnaround in Iraq is that many of his would be sympathizers finally grokked that the majority of the targets of Islamist bombings and so forth were, precisely, Muslims themselves.
(of course, Islamists would also seek out the occasional Iraqi Christian, but there were much fewer targets of opportunity)
While Abu Musab al Zarqawi had as a principal component of his slaughtering campaign in Iraq, specifically, the slaughter of shi’ites, men, women, children, whoever was most convenient to keep the terror alive.
