Alas, Poor Alec

It must be the feeling of being surrounded by empty craniums:

Alec Baldwin, appearing in “Walking With Cavemen”:

Surrounded by all these skulls, it feels like we’re not doing history at all — it feels like something more immediate…like doing Hamlet.

Or any other theatrical/cinematic production. Via John Hawks.

Especially those starring Alec Baldwin. Myself, I think that he peaked with this performance.

I really enjoyed that series, but I never got why they chose Alec Baldwin as the host and narrator. And when he said that “Hamlet” line, I remember thinking, “Huh?”

  3. Michael Lonie Says:

“Alas, poor Alec,” said Detective Paco, holding up a skull, its empty eye sockets staring at her with the same level of intelligence the man had shown in life. “I knew him well, Rebecca, a man of minimal jest.”

They hired Alec Baldwin because he would feel right at home among a horde of empty skulls.

Yeah, being a leftoid he probably hates the military too.

But the SOB has no problem strapping on a US military uniform (Hunt for Red October, Pearl Harbor) to make money.

    Jackass.
