Congressional Spelunking
As Surrender Party explores another cave:
House Democratic leaders yesterday agreed to meet President Bush’s bottom-line spending limit on a sprawling, half-trillion-dollar domestic spending bill, dropping their demands for as much as $22 billion in additional spending but vowing to shift funds from the president’s priorities to theirs.
The final legislation, still under negotiation, will be shorn of funding for the war in Iraq when it reaches the House floor, possibly on Friday. But Democratic leadership aides concede that the Senate will probably add those funds. A proposal to strip the bill of spending provisions for lawmakers’ home districts was shelved after a bipartisan revolt, but Democrats say the number and size of those earmarks will be scaled back.
Seems to me like we’ve been in this grotto before. Washington Post curiously goes back to May to illustrate this article with a shot of Pelosi and Reid looking like they’ve just been told a cave-in has blocked the exit and yes, that’s a skunk’s den over there in the corner:
Captains Quarters: The Democratic leadership have made George Bush more relevant and more Republican than ever before.

I guess the Dhimmicrats take the concept of surrender seriously….they’ll surrender to anyone, anywhere, at anytime.

It’s just more political dancing to cover their worthless behinds.

If Democrats can control the weather like they say, they have no reason to fear mere jihadis. They can just make niice to ‘em now and take care of them later with a typhoon or a sand storm or something.
Admit it, it makes as much sense as any of the other pacifist, redistributionist drivel they spout.
