I’m rather intrigued by this interesting yet telling detail
“The assailant then repeatedly kicked his left ankle.”
Now, whenever I’ve head-butted someone to the floor I’ve invariably done the stomach-stomp; perhaps I should investigate this new method.

I am sooo glad old Herr Vanguard got on that boat in Hamburg 150 years ago.
Probably also explains why I like hamburgers so much! (Which by the way completes the circle of logic with a tie in to McDonalds! )

“Who says the Heinrichs don’t a sense of humor?”
It’s spelt ‘Humour”.

At the time, I tried to find confirmation for this story on the internet and at Gelsenkirchen’s newspaper. I couldn’t find a thing. I think the story is bogus. Gelsenkirchen is part of the Ruhr, which has been a Social Democrat stronghold for 140 years. Almost all the neo-Nazi junk that happens, takes place in the former Commie East Germany. So, to have a neo-Nazi in a Gelsenkirchen McDonald’s (the neo-Nazi’s hate America, so why go to McDonalds?) and publicly say and do what he did without a public reaction doesn’t make sense to me.
