UFB! These idgits just don’t know when to give. Neither do they know how retarded they appear and are.

Do they even know who George Soros is?

Lies, Misrepresentations and More Left-Wing Extremist Propaganda

To paraphrase President Reagan, there they go again. Associated Press writer, Douglas Daniel has written an article promoting more lies, misrepresentations, and left-wing extremist propaganda trying to revive the loony left’s thoroughly debunked ficti…

  5. Richard Romano Says:

Haha, firedoglake is a joke of a name — it sounds fierce alright, but it’s worthless because it’s inept — just like the site’s administrator(s).

This “study” is another laugher — the MSM will do anything to prove that they have not lost their ability to influence people…you have, it’s over…all that’s left is the funeral procession.

The study was posted Tuesday on the Web site of the Center for Public Integrity, which worked with the Fund for Independence in Journalism.

It’s endlessly charming, what George Soros does with some of the the millions upon millions he made speculating in and destabilizing international currencies.

Given that Soros front organizations lack “transparency” and have such cool sounding names (e.g. Open Society Institute), it would be useful if someone would make a definitive list of Soros funded front organizations. But then he’d create a bunch of new ones.

The play of Soros money in the 2006 “cluster sampling” of Iraqi deaths was shocking.

As for the topic of this…study…here is a direct quote from Hillary Clinton’s speech on the Senate floor at the time of her 2002 yea vote on the resolution authorizing the use of force in Iraq.

    To wit:

In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members…

I’ll post the same thing here I posted over at Stop the ACLU…

‘”It is now beyond dispute that Iraq did not possess any weapons of mass destruction or have meaningful ties to al-Qaida,” according to Charles Lewis and Mark Reading-Smith of the Fund for Independence in Journalism staff members, writing an overview of the study.’

That’s incorrect. In fact, the Iraqis DID have some weapons of mass destruction (like mustard gas found by U.N. inspection teams shortly before the invasion of March 2003), as well as other banned materials (like missiles that violated the terms of the ceasefire agreement). What’s beyond dispute is that anyone who’s looked into the matter and is still claiming that Iraq had NO WMD is simply lying.

A possible Iraqi-Al Qaida connection is irrelevant since that has NEVER been a reason given for military action against the Baathist government of Iraq. We have official reasons for what we did in Iraq (try reading the congressional authorization for the use of force in Iraq sometime) and “the government of Iraq is helping Al Qaida” is NOT one of those reasons.

‘”In short, the Bush administration led the nation to war…”‘

Another bald-faced lie. The United States had been bombing Iraq for YEARS before George Bush became president. That’s war by definition, whether or not anyone cares to acknowledge it. The Bush administration didn’t lead the nation to war, they escalated an already existing war that the previous administration had waged (without much success) for the preceding eight years.

Any “study” that can’t even get basic premises right is valueless. This is leftist propaganda, not a valid study.

  13. OnlyInBostonKids Says:

Wealthy, white elitists who can’t get over Al Gore not being given the presidency by diktat, and who ignore the fundamentalist Islamist threat at their own peril. When women are forced into burqas and men are made to grow four inch beards, and get beaten for not being in the right direction of Mecca, it will be too late to retract the memes that have kept them going for the past eight years.

As for Soros - the neo-Leninist should be frogmarched to the nearest airport and deported, and for a hefty dose of irony, his assets should be redistributed to people most negatively affected by his machinations, e.g. Israel and the US.

  14. The_Real_JeffS Says:

He11, OnlyInBostonKids, how about rebuilding Iraq and Afghanistan? Still plenty of work left there, thanks to Soro’s machinations.
