Tri-Presidency
As Surber notes, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. All the talk about a Clinton co-presidency ignores the potential of a fully involved multi-generational Clinton White House. They need to get Chelsea texting, MySpacing, Facebooking, YouTubing, HuTubing, iPoding, all that young person stuff. Maybe get her some tattoos, piercings.
Because she really hasn’t been pulling her weight. NYT:
Meanwhile, Chelsea Clinton, who appears frequently on the campaign trail but rarely utters a word, lent her name to a fund-raising letter for her mother’s campaign.
“With the biggest day of this campaign in just 12 days, there has never been a more important time to contribute,” the letter says, telling contributors a gift will entitle them to a chance to attend the Democratic debate in Los Angeles as a guest of her mother. “I hope you’ll help my mom’s campaign prepare for February 5!”
This WaPo article has her hitting the send button on campaign emails. That’s lame. Even I know how to do that, and I’m an old geezer.
Uh oh. Here’s a problem. Looks like she inherited the wonk gene. AP:
She still won’t speak with reporters, but when audience members lobbed questions she replied with answers about her mother’s health care, education and immigration policies.
“I don’t think you should vote for her just because she’s a woman,” Chelsea Clinton said. “I think all that she’s done should clearly inform what she will do as president.”
And the prevarication gene, as Surder noted. “All that she’s done.” Unless Chelsea is refering to how mom rode dad’s coattails into office and her cynical abandonment of her husband’s Iraq regime change agenda in midstream, it’s not clear what she’s talking about. Another health care debacle and cookies in the White House?
But, it turns out, she’s old.
Chelsea Clinton also showed a lighter side. Before taking questions, she quipped that soon she might not be able to relate to college audiences.
“I want to think of myself as your peer, but I’m 27, so I may be older than all of you,” she said.

I call it the tri-calamity. Anyone who thinks the Clintons back in the WH needs help. It will divide America and give a green light to every Islamo-loony out there. I predict that Hillary will be the first ‘President’ in a long while to be assassinated.

“…Chelsea Clinton, who appears frequently on the campaign trail but rarely utters a word…”
As Twain said, ‘better to remain silent and be thought an idiot…’
Also, tri-presidencies are caused by global warming.

Chelsea doesn’t need tattoos or piercings, she needs her lips sewed shut. She can take her food by IV.

I wonder what Chelsea will choose as her reign name when she succeeds her mother? HRH Chelsea the First sounds like the name someone would give a prize poodle, that won’t do at all.
Something needs to be done to open up our political system, before it calcifies into an honest-to-God oligarchy.

Chelsea reportedly told the exclusive “Greek” gathering at Stanford (non Greeks were miffed) that her Mom was the first to label Darfur genocide on the Senate floor.
Well big whoop, besides it (reportedly) not being the case and some other Senator doing it first.
I remember when “The UN” finally got around to tossing the label “genocide” onto Darfur. Omar al -Bashir (the country’s President who orchestrated much of the genocide and Jimmy Carter’s goto guy in Sudan) was probably truly embarrassed for 5 minutes or so.
I’ve always claimed liberal elitists and liberal elitist institutions think that once they’ve performed the required self-righteous labeling, they’ve done their job.
