Variation on the Theme
Taser-hairspray potato gun fired without proper safety gear. That’s pretty heavy gauge PVC, but I wouldn’t recommend trying this at home,* unless home is a trailer park with high-tension wires out back built on top of a Superfund site. In which case, what the heck.
Theme this varies on is this one, by the way.
* Particularly if you are too young to know better. I’m not in a position to confirm or deny any absurdly dangerous home pyrotechnic/ballistic experimentation that may or may not have been conducted, or roofs that may have been jumped off of, etc. I understand they do have instruction manuals related to this general class of behavior nowadays, though I suspect they do not include explosive devices.

Tater guns have been around a long time! I recall one Guard unit on extended state disaster duty got a bit bored, and made a bazooka out of steel beer cans (yeah, this is an old story!) and lots of duct tape. They used lighter fluid as the propellant, and tennis balls as the projectile.
But there weren’t any girls in underwear to fire the bazooka, alas!

Potato taser guns are caused by global warming.
Ok, I’ll quit it :).
